As Brand and Content Specialist at Ice Cream Equipment Specialists, a supplier of ice cream equipment, I led multimedia content creation for social media, marketing materials, and trade show displays, with a strong emphasis on video production. I spearheaded the rebranding of ICE Specialists, developing a new logo, style guidelines, and signature materials to differentiate the brand from its subsidiary, Emerymark USA. By executing social media calendars with short-form video and bilingual content, the brand's social media presence was significantly expanded, resulting in increased engagement for both ICE Specialists and Emerymark USA.
In early 2023, I was accepted into the highly selective NCF class, where only 15 student filmmakers were chosen to serve as the crew for three senior thesis short films. During this program, I co-wrote and directed Mira Donde Nos Encontramos (2023), a romantic comedy short film, following a competitive pitch selection. The film was officially selected for the First-Time Filmmaker Sessions by the Lift-Off Global Network and earned an Award of Excellence at the BEA Student Festival of Media Arts. Additionally, I worked as second assistant camera on the neo-noir short Bonnie (2023) and as the sound mixer for the drama short The Gaze of a Woman (2023).
As a Development Intern, I provided script coverage while supporting executives and assistants in the production company's Latin American division. Additional responsibilities included researching international intellectual property for Spanish adaptation and creating lists of potential showrunners, directors, and writers for current and future projects.
I had the exciting opportunity to be a freelance camera operator on an episode of HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, filming participating athletes and events at the 2022 National Senior Games over the course of two days. A highlight of the experience was capturing athlete Florence 'Flo' Filion Meiler breaking an NSGA hammer throw record.
As a digital creator, I produce content for English- and Spanish-speaking audiences for the U.S. partner of the Mexican ice cream machine manufacturer Emerymark. My responsibilities include filming and editing tutorials for commercial ice cream machines and equipment, as well as designing various graphics, including flyers, social media content, and B2B product catalogs.
I operated the visual switching equipment as Technical Director for the weekly live broadcast of First at Five. Previously, I served as the camera operator, handling high-tech robotic camera equipment for weekly live-to-tape shows for Noticias WUFT and WUFT News.
I was involved with the integrated strategic communications firm within the College of Journalism and Communications as a Production Supervisor, where I oversaw production for agency-wide internal projects, such as training videos and studio headshots, and managed the delivery of production materials to account directors. As a videographer and photographer, my time at The Agency also included supporting social media strategy through creative production for real-world clients, including The Bartram Apartments, condiment brand Wafu, and the nonprofit Gators Unidos.
As the Harn Museum's Photo and Video Intern, I created multimedia content to support the social media strategy for the Harn's combined following of 17k+ users across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. I was also responsible for producing high-quality images of visitor experiences, art exhibitions, and events for the museum’s email campaigns and print magazine.
While on the MASA public relations team, I produced social media content, including graphics, photos, and videos, for the organization's Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts. As the Director of PR, I led a rebranding initiative that resulted in a 35% follower growth on Instagram in seven months. I also worked closely with executive leaders to establish brand guidelines and create a new signature logo that personified what Mexican-American culture means to Gator students.
As Photo Director at the Gainesville branch of Strike Magazine, I led a team of six assistants to produce high-quality images that adhered to the editorial direction of the nation's largest student-run fashion and lifestyle publication. During my time with Strike, contributing to six issues, I collaborated with editors, producers, and videographers to brainstorm and implement unique thematic concepts for photoshoots.
My role as a video production assistant was to help produce local business commercials airing in the Treasure Coast area. My responsibilities included setting up lighting, organizing video equipment, and capturing b-roll footage of clients and day-to-day business activities.
